I learned that I can’t do this by myself. That when I need help, I shouldn’t be afraid to ask. Whether its asking the grandparents to watch the big kids or my husband to pitch in just a little bit longer, making time for your last baby, is so precious and vital. We know he’s going to be the last baby. We made sure of that. 😉 But I cant help being sad about his chubby cheeks starting to get more contoured and his chubby little body getting more slender. He’s transforming before my eyes!
So then just a few tips to help you make the most of the last baby’s babyhood:
Really, no Really, make quality time a priority. I’ve been blessed to be able to stay home with him.
Fill out his baby book! While it’s hard to find time, I started keeping a little note pad in the car and also got extra cloud storage So I can take more precious videos. They won’t be cute forever!
Keep those hand prints. Even though he can’t sign his name, I always trace his hand or print his hand print on a card whenever I make one. It’s cool to look back and see how small his hands used to be! One day, those hands will be bigger than mine and he’s going to be a grown man! I can’t even imagine that. But keeping his hand print is so neat. Especially when saved in his baby book.
what else do you do to keep those precious baby moments alive?
